| AirNow-Gateway
The AIRNow-Gateway ( http://www.airnowgateway.org/ ) provides real-time air quality data and forecasts to protect public health across the United States, Canada, and parts of Mexico. AIRNow receives real-time ozone and PM 2.5 data from over 2,000 monitors and collects forecasts for more than 300 cities.
As part of the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) program, the AIRNow Gateway system broadens access to AIRNow data and data products. AIRNow Gateway produces data products in several standard data formats and makes them available via FTP and web services.

The principal goal for the initial deployment was to provide enhanced en-route traffic management during severe weather events. An AFP is a traffic management process that identifies constraints in the en-route system, develops a real time list of flights that are filed into the constrained area, and distributes expect departure clearance times (EDCT) to meter the demand through the area. |

CBSV ( http://www.ssa.gov/cbsv/ ) is a fee and consent-based Social Security number (SSN) verification service available to enrolled private companies and government agencies, whether Federal, State or Local. It provides instantaneous, automated verification and it easily handles large volume requests. Using CBSV, participating companies can verify the SSNs of their customers and clients.
CBSV requires the written consent of the SSN holder and the verification results can only be used for the reason the number holder specifies.
CBSV verifies whether a name and Social Security Number (SSN) combination match the data in SSA’s records. The submitted information is matched against SSA’s Master File of Social Security Numbers (SSNs). The matching elements include: Social Security number, name, date of birth and a gender code if available. Each SSN and name combination submitted to CBSV will be returned with a “yes” or “no” verification code that the submission either matches or does not match our records. If applicable, a death indicator will be reported if the records reflect that the SSN holder is deceased. Please note that the results obtained from CBSV do not confirm or authenticate "proof of identity”.

Defects and Recalls Early Warning Reporting ( https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ewr/ ) was established by ODI to collect and report information about vehicle defects and recalls. In response to complaints by the public or reports by manufacturers, ODI conducts defect investigations and administers safety recalls to support the NHTSA’s mission to improve safety on our Nation's highways. NHTSA is authorized to order manufacturers to recall and repair vehicles or items of motor vehicle equipment when ODI investigations indicate that they contain serious safety defects in their design, construction, or performance. ODI also monitors the adequacy of manufacturers' recall campaigns.

DM-OPEN is a non-proprietary operational interoperability backbone that provides a set of "level playing field" web services designed to enable disparate third-party applications, systems, networks and devices to share information using open, freely available interoperability standards.
As Federal infrastructure, DM-OPEN is designed to support the delivery of real-time data and situational awareness to public emergency responders in the field, at operation centers and across all levels of response management. It was designed primarily for developers of government or commercial software products that support incident response and recovery who are interested in utilizing a common network to distribute OASIS standards-compliant messages.
DM-OPEN currently provides four active Web services:
1. Admin Interface - Web service interface for adding and removing users to OPEN Collaboration Operating Groups (COG) for the purpose of operational group access management.
2. Common Alerting Protocol SOAP Interface - An implementation of the OASIS CAP that allows for the sharing of Alerts between OPEN-COGs regardless of which system is used for creation. Allows retrieval of alerts by or by time of post.Addition selection of messages sent from a COG, sent to a COG, sent to all COGs, or all of the above. Allows post of CAP messages globally (to all cogs) or to an array of pre-determined COGs. Uses a SOAP Encoded RPC interface.
3. HazCollect NWEM Interface - An interface for posting specialized CAP messages meeting the requirements for NOAA HazCollect system. Messages are to be broadcasted to HazCollect system and stored in DMIS. The interface also allows for determination of COG authorization and which Weather offices and associated FIPS Codes are allowed to a specific COG for building the specialized message.
4. EDXL DE Interface - WSDL interface for sending and receiving EDXL-DE wrapped content of all kinds through the DM-OPEN directed distribution system. Posting and retrieval rules follow the same as for CAP messages except that each item of content is a separate string representing a complete EDXL message with content.

The Event Notification Service Allows for the management of event notification subscriptions and delivery options. Event notification subscriptions allow third party applications to be notified by ECHO when an internal event occurs, such as a catalog modification (item added, removed, or updated) or an extended services modification (web service added, removed, or updated). The event notification framework supports the delivery of the notifications in various ways, including FTP push, email, and a web service callback. |

The NASA Earth Observing System Clearinghouse (ECHO) is an operational metadata registry that enables the science community to more easily discover and exchange NASA’s Earth science data and services.
The Group Management Service provides all activities a user of the ECHO system needs to maintain and manage groups of users. Groups are aggregations of ECHO registered users, and there are rules governing the membership actions that can be invoked on a group. Each group consists of one owner, and one or more managers. A group manager is responsible for adding and removing ECHO registered users to the group. A group manager is also responsible for the management of the group managers. A group must have one or more group managers. Attempting to remove the last manager of a group results in a error. Groups are used to communicate amongst groups of users and the managers of those users. Groups are also used in the Data Management Service when permissions are created on meta data. |

A user may have multiple provider roles (only acting on behalf of one at a time) |

American International Group, Inc. is an insurance company that was at the heart of the financial crisis. Since September 2008, the Federal Reserve and Treasury have taken a series of actions related to AIG in order to promote financial stability. PHIN Exchange Web Service: Cascade Exchange is a member of a collection of web services that are used to facilitate the sending and receipt of Cascade Alert Messages, files, reports and other types of payloads on the CDC Public Health Information Network (PHIN). More specifically the Cascade Exchange Service is used to send and receive PCA messages and reports.
The PHIN is a national initiative to improve the capacity of public health to use and exchange information electronically by promoting the use of standards, defining functional and technical requirements. PHIN Communication and Alerting (PCA), one component of PHIN, is a specification of public health alerting capabilities, with an emphasis on interoperability of partners’ systems.
Cascade alert messages and acknowledgement messages are implemented using standard message formats and a standard transport protocol. The message formats employ two XML message schemas:
